Monster Rounds is a cheap Tier 1 weapon item that turns you into a farming machine: bonus weapon damage and bullet resist against NPCs let you melt troopers, neutral camps and guardians faster while soaking less of their return fire. The out-of-combat regen keeps you topped up between waves, so you spend more time clearing and less time backing.
When to buy
Slot it in your first few hundred souls if your plan is to farm the jungle, push lanes and chip guardians — gun-heavy carries and split-farmers get the most out of it. The bonuses only touch NPCs, so it's pure economy, not a fight stat: you're buying a faster soul lead, not duel power. Later it upgrades into Cultist Sacrifice when you want bonus souls and even bigger NPC damage.
Is Monster Rounds worth it?
If you actively farm jungle and push lanes, yes — it's one of the cheapest ways to speed up clears and build an early soul lead. Heroes who don't farm NPCs get almost nothing from it.
Does Monster Rounds help against enemy heroes?
No. The bonus weapon damage and bullet resist only apply versus NPCs, so it adds zero in hero duels. It's a pure economy item — value it for farm speed, not fights.
