Cultist Sacrifice turns a jungle creep into instant economy: target an enemy NPC, consume it for a fat chunk of bonus Souls, and walk away with a long-lasting buff to weapon damage, health and ability range. It builds from Monster Rounds, so it's the natural pickup for heroes who already farm camps hard and want every neutral to pay double.
When to buy
This is a tempo and economy item, not a fight stat-stick. Slot it on weapon-farming heroes who clear jungle fast and want to convert that lead into a Soul swing — Monster Rounds already gives you the bonus damage and bullet resist vs NPCs to clear camps quickly, and the upgrade adds the sacrifice on top. At 3200 souls it pays for itself the moment the bonus Souls land, so it's strongest mid game when you're rotating between lanes and camps. If you're behind in farm or stuck defending tier, the active is hard to use safely and the money is better spent elsewhere.
How to use it
Aim the active at the fattest creep in a camp — the bonus Souls come off what you eat, so sacrifice the high-value target, not the trash add. Time the buff window before a push or a contested objective so the extra weapon damage and range overlap the fight instead of expiring while you walk back to lane. Then keep it on cooldown: the real value is the repeated Soul lead it builds over a game, not one big sacrifice.
Is Cultist Sacrifice worth it?
On a farming hero who jungles well, yes — generating Souls out of thin air is one of the strongest things you can do in Deadlock, and the buff is a free bonus. On a hero who can't safely clear camps it's a weak pick; the active just sits unused.
What can I sacrifice it on?
Enemy NPCs — neutral camp creeps are the bread and butter. Target the largest creep you can to maximize the bonus Souls per use.
