Deadlock glossary

A useful callout tells a teammate what to do next. Deadlock’s vocabulary mixes shooter movement, lane economy and ability control, so learning the distinction between similar words is more valuable than memorizing a long list without a situation.
Connect the term to an action
A deny contests an enemy flying soul orb; a rotation moves you toward another part of the map; peeling means helping an ally escape pressure. An imbue selects an ability for an item effect. Use the word with a target or destination so teammates can respond.
Separate labels that sound similar
Spirit Power is a stat, while spirit damage is a damage type. Silence and stun remove different actions. A barrier absorbs damage without automatically cleansing control. When a callout is unclear, name the effect or location instead of arguing over which shorthand is correct.
