When to buy & tricks
Ricochet turns a single-target gun into AoE: each landed shot bounces onto enemies near your target for a slice of the original damage and re-applies all of your bullet procs to those extra bodies. It's a 6,400 late-game luxury for sustained-fire shooters who win by chunking clumps — it rips through creep waves and clustered objective fights, but does nothing in a clean 1v1 or on a slow single-shot kit.
→The bounce copies bullet procs, so stack gun items like Slowing Bullets or Silencer and one tracked target spreads the slow or silence onto the whole pack.
→Huge farm accelerator: aim one creep in a wave or camp and let the splash clear the rest far faster.
