When to buy & tricks

Titanic Magazine is the big-clip upgrade in the magazine line — a hefty jump in magazine size plus a solid slice of weapon damage for 1600 souls. You buy it when your gun is the win condition and you want to dump a full, fight-ending clip without ever stopping to reload, which is exactly how machine-gun carries out-DPS people: by simply never running dry.

When to buy

Titanic Magazine is a mid-game commitment to a weapon build, not a flex slot. It's at its best on sustained-fire heroes who already hold the trigger down — McGinnis, Haze, Vindicta, Mirage — where the giant clip turns 'reload at the worst possible moment' into 'keep firing until the target is dead.' The bigger the magazine, the more your other gun items get to work per engagement, so it's a natural pairing with ramp and on-hit effects that only pay off the longer you stay on target. Skip it on burst and shotgun heroes who never empty a clip: the extra rounds just sit there, and the souls are better spent on raw weapon power or fire rate.

The clip size is the whole point — it lets ramping items like Intensifying Magazine and on-hit procs reach full value before you ever have to reload.
Pair it with fire rate (Swift Striker) so the huge magazine actually empties inside a fight instead of carrying dead rounds you never shoot.
If you reload from habit rather than because you're genuinely out, the extra capacity is wasted — put the slot into pure weapon damage instead.

Is Titanic Magazine worth it?

On a hero who actually empties the mag in a fight, yes — the magazine jump plus weapon damage let you win drawn-out trades on uptime alone, and a bigger clip scales every other gun item you stack. On burst or shotgun heroes it's a trap: you'll never fire the extra rounds, so the souls are wasted.

Titanic Magazine or Intensifying Magazine?

Both are Tier 2 magazine items but they solve different problems: Intensifying Magazine ramps your damage the longer you hold the trigger, while Titanic Magazine just makes the clip enormous. Most sustained-fire carries eventually want both, since the bigger clip keeps the ramp at max longer. If you only buy one, take Titanic when you keep running dry mid-fight and Intensifying when you stay topped up but want more raw DPS.
