Extended Magazine
Passive — works automatically once bought.
Extended Magazine is the cheapest way to stretch your clip — more rounds per reload plus a bit of weapon damage for 800 souls. It's a staple first or second weapon buy on any hero who actually empties the mag in a fight, because the bigger clip lets you keep firing through a duel or a whole wave instead of reloading at the worst moment.
When to buy
Pick it up early on sustained-fire heroes who run dry mid-duel — McGinnis, Haze, Vindicta and most machine-gun carries get huge value out of holding the trigger longer. It's a safe Tier 1 spike that also opens the Magazines line, so it's rarely a wasted slot if you're committing to gun damage. The flip side: clip size does nothing for heroes who never run their mag empty (slow, hard-hitting weapons), so on those put the 800 souls into Headshot Booster or Monster Rounds instead.
Is Extended Magazine worth it?
On any trigger-holding hero, yes — at 800 souls it's one of the most cost-efficient early weapon items, and the clip size keeps you in fights you'd otherwise lose to a reload. On burst heroes with tiny mags it does little, so judge it by whether you actually run dry.
