When to buy & tricks

Cheat Death is your panic button on a long timer — the hit that would kill you instead leaves you alive with a burst of healing and a few seconds of damage resist, so deep dives and getting bursted in a teamfight stop being an automatic death. Treat the proc as your cue to peel out, and remember enemy anti-heal (Healbane and friends) chews into the survival heal, so a coordinated team can still finish you through it.
