When to buy & tricks

Hunter's Aura is a passive aura that makes every enemy standing near you squishier to gunfire and slower to shoot back at once — it shaves their Bullet Resist and Fire Rate. Because that debuff helps everyone shooting the target, it's a team-wide gun amp you carry into the brawl, and the whole effect doubles when there's only one enemy hero in range.

When to buy

Slot it on a hero who actually lives in the enemy's face — a frontline brawler or diver like Abrams or Bebop who's already inside the fight. It does nothing for a long-range backliner who never gets close enough for the aura to land. The usual window is mid-game, after your core gun pieces, once your team starts grouping and brawling. It's also a sneaky-strong lane and duel pick, since the solo-target doubling kicks in any time you catch a single hero one-on-one.

Tricks & synergies

Think of it as a force multiplier for a bullet-heavy comp, not a solo stat stick: every ally hosing down a target inside your aura gets the Bullet Resist cut, so it pays off most when your team groups and focuses. The doubled effect rewards isolation — gankers and divers who jump a lone backliner get the full value, while in a five-stack scrum you only get the single version. The Fire Rate cut also blunts enemy gun DPS, so it doubles as defensive value when you dive, and it eats straight through enemies stacking bullet armor.

It's an aura — you have to be in the fight for it to do anything. Park it on a hero who lives up close, never on a backline poke.
The effect doubles on a lone target, so it's a strong duel and gank item: isolate one hero and your gun damage on them spikes.
Whole-team gun amp — every ally shooting an enemy inside your aura gets the Bullet Resist cut, so it shines in a grouped, bullet-heavy comp.
The Fire Rate cut slows the enemy's guns too, so it's quietly defensive when you commit a dive onto their backline.

Who should buy Hunter's Aura?

Frontline brawlers and divers who fight at close range and stay near enemies — anyone who anchors the brawl. It's wasted on long-range heroes who never get close enough for the aura to reach.

Does the doubled effect matter in team fights?

It only doubles when there's exactly one enemy hero in range, so in a packed five-stack brawl you get the single value. It hits hardest in duels, ganks and split-push skirmishes where you catch a lone hero.
