Rebirth
Respawns the hero at the spot they died.
Passive — works automatically once bought.
Rebirth is your commit button — when you die it channels for a few seconds and brings you back at the spot you fell, on a very long cooldown, so you can throw yourself at a Patron shield, a Walker or a key target knowing you'll pop back on-site to finish the job. It shines on dive heroes and objective pushes, but you reappear at low health and exactly where the enemy last saw you, so it buys tempo, not a free 1v1.
Tricks
The revive isn't instant: you fade out and channel before reappearing, so don't count on Rebirth to win the current trade — it pays off in the next fight or the objective you were pushing, not the swing you just lost. Because you come back low and right where you died, a smart enemy will simply hold that spot and burst you again the moment you materialize, so time the death around your team arriving rather than dying last as the lone feeder. With the cooldown this long, treat it as a once-a-fight resource and plan your big commit (Patron, Walker, a clutch dive) for while it's up.
