Crippling Headshot
Landing a Headshot will reduce their Bullet and Spirit Resist and applies Healing Reduction.
Passive — works automatically once bought.
A premium headshot debuff. Land a headshot and the target loses both bullet and spirit resist and takes heavy heal reduction for several seconds, while you keep a chunk of bonus health. It's a personal damage spike and a team-wide anti-heal in one slot — one clean shot makes everyone hit harder into that hero, gun or spirit.
When to buy
This is a late-game capstone for heroes that already land headshots reliably — accurate hitscan carries like Vindicta, Wraith, Grey Talon, Mr. Akimbo or Mirage. Because the debuff only fires on a headshot, it's wasted on heroes that spray. Reach for it when the enemy comp is tanky or sustain-heavy: it doubles as your team's mandatory anti-heal and cracks open beefy targets so spirit teammates can finish them. At 6400 it's a commitment, so slot it once your aim and economy can keep it active in fights.
Tricks & synergies
Open every engagement with a headshot to prime the debuff before your team commits — the resist shred and heal cut apply to all damage they take, not just yours. Since it lowers spirit resist too, it's strongest paired with a burst-spirit teammate who can dump on a primed target. Keep re-applying it during the fight to refresh the timer on a backline healer or a self-sustaining bruiser; the heal reduction alone can decide drawn-out brawls and objective contests.
Is Crippling Headshot worth it?
Yes, if you can land headshots. On accurate hitscan heroes it's one of the best weapon capstones in the game — a steep damage amp plus anti-heal on every shot. On heroes that can't reliably hit heads, take a cheaper anti-heal instead.
How is it different from other anti-heal items?
Most anti-heal procs on any bullet hit; Crippling Headshot demands a headshot but pays far more — it also strips bullet and spirit resist on top of the heal cut, making it a teamfight damage multiplier rather than a pure sustain counter.
