Hollow Point
When you are above 65% health, deal additional Weapon Damage and your bullets reduce enemy Bullet Resist.
Passive — works automatically once bought.
Hollow Point is a Tier 3 weapon item that rewards fighting from full: while you sit above 65% health, your bullets hit harder and stamp a Bullet Resist debuff on whatever you're shooting. It's a snowball pickup for gun carries who win their lane and stay topped up — both the extra damage and the shred go quiet the moment you drop below the threshold.
When to buy
Slot it on a gun carry that's already winning and can keep its health bar high — Hollow Point is a dominance item, not a comeback one. The bonus weapon damage and the Bullet Resist shred only fire above 65% health, so it shines when you control the fight, farm safely and trade on your terms, and it falls flat when you're constantly poked below the line. The built-in bonus health and out-of-combat regen help you hold that threshold, but if your hero brawls low-and-sustain or eats a lot of chip damage, the value evaporates exactly when you need it. It's Tier 3 money, so it usually lands mid-to-late once your core gun build is online.
Tricks & synergies
The Bullet Resist shred is applied to the target, not just to you, so every gun-heavy teammate shooting the same enemy cashes in — it's a team-wide bullet amp on whatever you focus. That makes it a clean answer to enemies stacking bullet armor: your shots peel their resist back open. Pair it with other shred like Bullet Resist Shredder on a bullet-heavy comp and the priority target stops being able to soak gunfire at all. Because the whole package wants you near full, treat sustain (lifesteal, healing) as a partner item — staying over 65% is what keeps Hollow Point switched on.
Is Hollow Point worth it?
On a gun carry that wins fights and stays healthy, yes — it's a big weapon-damage spike plus team-wide Bullet Resist shred. If your hero is constantly poked below 65% health or plays a low-sustain brawl style, the bonus keeps switching off and the slot is better spent on raw stats or lifesteal.
Does the Bullet Resist shred help my teammates?
Yes. The debuff is applied to the enemy you shoot, so any ally also firing on that target deals more too. Mark the priority enemy and your whole gun-heavy side hits harder.
