Spirit Shredder Bullets is a Tier 2 weapon item that turns your gunfire into setup for spirit damage: every target you shoot gets a debuff that cuts their Spirit Resist and lets you and your allies leech health with spirit attacks against them. It's a bridge slot for hybrid heroes who fire steadily but kill with abilities, and a force-multiplier when your team leans spirit-heavy.

When to buy

Slot it once your build wants spirit damage to land harder — it's strongest on hybrid heroes who keep a steady stream of bullets on a target while their abilities do the killing, like McGinnis, Mo & Krill, Seven or Bebop. The resist shred and lifesteal only matter if you or a teammate are actually dealing spirit damage to the debuffed target, so skip it on pure weapon carries with no spirit in the kit. It also shines as a team pick: one player tags the priority target with their gun and the whole spirit side of the team punches through harder.

Synergies & counters

Stack it with Escalating Exposure or other spirit amp and the debuffed target melts under your casts — the resist shred and the amp pile on top of each other. It's a natural answer to enemies stacking Spirit Armor: peeling their Spirit Resist back open claws away the value they paid for. And because the lifesteal is granted to you and allies hitting the marked target, it doubles as cheap sustain for a spirit-leaning team in drawn-out fights — you keep shooting, everyone heals off the spirit damage.

Is Spirit Shredder Bullets worth it?

If your kit or your team deals spirit damage and you fire often enough to keep the debuff up, yes — it makes every spirit hit land harder and adds free sustain. On a pure weapon hero with no spirit damage it does almost nothing, and the slot is better spent elsewhere.

Does Spirit Shredder Bullets boost my gun damage?

No. It's a weapon item by slot, but the payoff is all on the spirit side: it lowers the target's Spirit Resist and grants spirit lifesteal. Your bullets are just the delivery system for the debuff — they don't hit any harder themselves.
