Capacitor
Launch a projectile that deals damage, applies a strong slow that recovers over time, prevents Stamina usage and Silences their movement-based items and abilities.
Your bullets have a chance to shock your target. The shock will jump to a nearby enemy.
Active — bind to a key and trigger it (Z/X/C/V).
Capacitor is a high-cost weapon item built from Tesla Bullets. It keeps the chain-lightning passive that jumps between enemies, and adds an active projectile that hits a target for a strong slow, blocks their stamina, and silences their movement items and abilities — the anti-escape tool for gun heroes who need to stop a slippery target.
When to buy
Buy it when one enemy keeps slipping away — a dash-heavy carry, a flyer, or anyone whose escape is a mobility ability. It's a late, expensive weapon slot, so it usually goes on gun cores who already run Tesla Bullets and want to turn that farming passive into a pick tool. If the enemy team has no real escapes, skip it and take a cheaper damage item instead.
How to use it
Open a gank or pick with the active: land the projectile, and the target can't dash, can't burn stamina to jump away, and can't fire off their mobility ability — your team collapses while they're stuck at a crawl. Lead the shot on anyone already moving, since the projectile travels. Between casts you still get the shock chain for clearing waves and chipping grouped enemies, so the slot pays off even on cooldown.
Is Capacitor worth it?
It's niche but very strong into escape-heavy enemies. If you build Tesla Bullets anyway and the lobby has a slippery carry, the active is one of the cleanest ways to lock a target down for the kill. Against a low-mobility team it's overkill — take raw damage instead.
What does the Capacitor active actually silence?
Only movement-based items and abilities, plus it prevents stamina use. Their damage and utility spells still work, but their escape and reposition tools are shut off while they're slowed.
