When to buy & tricks
Metal Skin's active makes you completely immune to gunfire for its duration, so a full clip into your face does nothing while it's up. Buy it when the enemy damage leans on weapons — Wraith, Vindicta, Infernus — to neutralize their carry mid-fight and flip a losing trade into a free kill.
→It only blocks bullets — spirit abilities and melee still land in full, so it won't save you from an ability nuke or a Bebop bomb.
→Use it reactively the instant a gun carry opens up on you; their burst is wasted and you can close the gap and punish them while immune.
