Dashes
A dash is most useful when it changes the enemy’s shot or carries you to cover. Repeating it along the same exposed line can spend stamina without making the target meaningfully harder to hit.
Choose direction from the threat
Move across the important attack’s path rather than automatically dashing straight backward. End near cover or a useful firing angle. Heroes can have different dash timing, so learn the movement on the hero you play instead of assuming every character completes the same escape identically.
Leave a follow-up option
Practise a single dodge followed by controlled aim or a turn behind cover. Then add a second movement only when the first destination needs it. Parrying during a regular ground dash now stops its momentum, so a defensive input can change where the route ends.
