Paige, the Bookbinder, is a spirit support-enchanter who doubles as a CC nuker. She keeps your core alive with Plot Armor barriers that also buff their weapon damage, sets up kills with Captivating Read's delayed root, and swings fights she isn't even standing in with the map-wide Rallying Charge. Complexity 1 with a very forgiving floor — only the lockdown combo raises the ceiling — so she's a clean pick for new players who want to win lanes and close games rather than hard-carry them.

Early game

Paige is a strong lane bully despite being support. Her gun, Chapter's End, is a long-range projectile (35 per shot, 7000 range) — buy High-Velocity Rounds and use it purely to poke and deny souls from a safe distance. Shield yourself with Plot Armor to win every trade, since the barrier hands you bonus weapon damage while it holds. Drop Bookwyrm across the wave for the burning DoT trail to control creeps and zone the enemy off the orbs. Late game

Full teamfight enchanter-nuker. Stack Plot Armor with Divine Barrier on your carry to eat a dive — that's two shields plus the weapon-damage buff turning your protected core into a kill threat. Open fights with Vortex Web to clump enemies into Captivating Read's root, then layer Bookwyrm and amp everything with spirit-amp stacking. Save Rallying Charge for cross-map use: cast it from far away so the spectral knights travel the full distance for peak heal and damage amp, swinging an objective you're nowhere near. Base HP is down 10 for everyone this patch, so your spirit burst closes kills faster than ever.
